HEADLINED by Thailand’s Sing Siri versus Cairns’ Jacob Breen, there are 15 undercard bouts on Legal Assault VI, with some explosive match ups predicted.
Fight Corps matchmaker Vince Parkes caught up with a few of the fighters and has given his insider tips on how it will go down on the night.
Jacob ‘the Dean of Mean’ Breen vs Sing Siri
Jacob’s got all the goods to beat Sing, being younger, hungry to prove himself and I believe he’s the next big thing in muaythai, definitely in North Queensland and maybe in Australia... we’ll see!
Breeny’s assets are his strong will, a very tough chin, and that he’s never been stopped in his 10 fight career, but southpaw Sing is no slouch, being a professional fighter in Thailand for most of his life and with notorious grappling skills and a huge left hand.
This fight could go either way, making it a perfect main event.
Ardy ‘the Animal’ Chamberlain vs Alfred Samuel
I don’t know much about Alfred, except that he’s a 10-fight veteran, with a PNG title under his belt and we can expect a tough opponent coming out of the Onyx Gym, under the tutelage of Frank Macdonald, they all come to the ring with good skills and the fuel to last the distance.
But Ardy I’ve watched for most of his fight career, and he’s just come off a nasty loss in Perth and he’ll be keen to redeem himself against the hard-hitting highlander from PNG.
Frank ‘N’stein’ Chamberlain vs ‘Nightmare’ Nick
Body Torque trainer had no hesitations in putting Nick’s name down against rising talent Frank ‘N’stein’ Chamberlain, from Cairns’ Intense Muaythai. This bout will be fought over five two minute rounds, and will be another great fight to see, which would go the way of either warrior.
Brodie Melody vs Liam Slocombe
Both these boys are promising young fighters, each with a win under their belts and keen to get back in the ring and improve their skills. Brodie, from Cairns’ newest muaythai gym, Nukzu, is under the guidance of arguably one of Australia’s most experienced fighters-turned-trainer, Boy Pramaree and Liam is from the Far North’s longest-standing muaythai gym, Full Boar, so this one should be a ripper.

There are 13 explosive fights on the card, headlined by Cairns’ own ‘Pitbull’ Sam Summers, with the undercard featuring Ardy Chamberlain, Clayton Cook, Damon Eales, Mark Tabone, Bryce Kirk and many more.
Fight Corps’ Vince Parkes caught up with a few of the fighters and has given his insider tips on how it will go down on the night.
Clayton ‘the Athlete’ Cook vs Damon ‘Slippery’ Eales
This is going to be a ripper match up with Damon a pro boxer/BJJ practitioner, currently training out of Fusion Gym in Tolga and boxing under Paddy McLean in Mareeba.
Damon is known for his never say die attitude and power punching ability. Mareeba’s top gun fighter will be a perfect match for the talented athlete Clayton Cook, a Full Boar muaythai fighter with exceptional stand up skills, he is known for his athleticism and speed.
This fight is going to be a crowd favourite for the Cooktown and Mareeba fight fans.
Talking to both boys, they said this fight is not going the distance…
Bryce ‘the Perente’ vs Mark ‘Typhoon’ Tabone
The semi-main event of the evening will be one not to be missed, Mark Tabone an adult entertainer by night, cage fighter by day, should be the ladies favourite.
The Typhoon is undefeated in his MMA career, known for his strength on the ground and a submission specialist, Mark will be looking to take the Perente to the ground and pound him out.
The Perente Bryce Kirk is a fearless competitor, sharpening his skills and competing in all three sports, muaythai, boxing and MMA.
He is a very underestimated fighter, purely because of his gangly looks, but don’t be deceived, this man is dangerous in anything he applies himself to. The prediction: Mark Typhoon Tabone is the favourite, but don’t count the Perente out.
Ardy ‘the Animal’ Chamberlain vs Luke Marrable
Ardy the Animal is a walk up fighter with killer instinct, on a mission from hell. He’s a very tough muaythai fighter having his second MMA fight, and he will be a hard nut for all-rounded opponent Luke Marrable to crack.
Luke said he’s very excited to come to Cairns and stamp his authority on the Animal.
He’s strong on the ground, as well as his stand up.
This fight is going to be a human pit fight in a cage…

Cairns’ own ‘Pitbull’ Sam Summers is among the Far Northern warriors set to explode in the octagon on Saturday, April 21, as part of Fight Corps’ very first MMA event.
Headlined by the Full Boar Gym’s Jack ‘the Ripper’ McInnes taking on Townsville’s Mark ‘Typhoon’ Tabone, The Beginning was expected to fill the Cairns PCYC to capacity, promoter Vince Parkes said. “It’s more than a month away but already tickets are being sold and everyone is talking about the show,” Parkes said.

Fist-face action won’t be the only thing on offer, with hot food, licensed bar, the sexy Fight Corps promo and ring card girls, fight gear giveaways, MC Rydakule and much more.
